Richmond County School System (RCSS) students had the opportunity to participate in the 2017 TechNet Augusta Conference hosted by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). Approximately 150 RCSS students from A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet, Richmond County Technical Career Magnet, Academy of Richmond County, Butler High, Hephzibah High and Hephzibah Middle participated in the event. Students attended guest speaker lectures and visited exhibits featuring hands-on information on cybersecurity, information technology, communications and electronics for defense and intelligence communities. Exhibitors included Samsung, U.S. Army Cyber Command, Panasonic, and more.
