The Richmond County School System (RCSS) held its first set of 2017-2018 open house sessions on Thursday, August 3 for Elementary, K-8 and Middle Schools. Teachers and students had the opportunity to interact in their new classrooms and receive more information about the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. Parents were able to engage in their students education and greet teachers while community partnerships gave back to students and families; including the Lighten the Load Foundation donating 600 backpacks and school supplies to every student at Glenn Hills Elementary.
High School and 6-12 (Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School, A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet School, and the Richmond County Technical Career Magnet School) open house will be held Friday, August 4 from 1 PM to 4 PM.
